Kazim Sanjar is the co-founder and technical director of Afghanistan Snowboard, he has played a key role in introducing and promoting snowboarding in a country where winter sports are still emerging.

He began his journey in sports at an early age, showing a deep passion for physical activity and outdoor adventure. His interest eventually led him to snowboarding—a sport that has become both his passion and his mission. With vision and determination, he helped establish Afghanistan Snowboard, an organization aimed at nurturing young athletes, creating access to training, and building a local snowboarding culture despite limited infrastructure and challenging conditions.

As Technical Director, Sanjar has been instrumental in developing training programs, organizing events, and mentoring new talent. His work not only advances the sport but also empowers Afghan youth by offering them new opportunities and a sense of global connection.
